First Saturday market since June!

Final sale this Saturday morning..
Nick Howell chased around for last minute display fish!
Mr Morley landed some splendid ray!
Boy Brax landed another big shot of handline mackerel....
Shark caught smoking on the market...
Charisma landed her first shot of tuna...
Dr Smart honoured the market with his presence...
... the 'big clean' continues....
... a quick cuppa in the Mission....while yellow wellies with hose get busy...

and a scrubber....Andrew Woods' boat is on the dockside in Penzance wet dock.

Fish festival here we come!

Crystal Waters II is ready to make her maiden voyage - shame about the weather!

The roof has come of the Ripple - must be time to get her wet!Aurora is up on the slip for a hull job.
Another visiting transport awaits some fish from a starved market.
Dennis Pascoe seems very interested in his stern!
Meanwhile, harbour master Andrew Munson is throwing himself enthusiastically into the task of preparing for the fish festival this coming Monday!

Newlyn Raft Race this Sunday

Newlyn has excellent transport links, this truck is from Kilkenny, Ireland.
The funnel and wheelhouse have now been removed from the EAW, Newlyn's very first beam trawler.
The new Orion gallery extension has yet to be completed - seems there's a problem with the front door!If you can, make a date in the diary and take part in this year's raft race - even if it only to soak up the atmosphere and watch the Meadery Girls walk away with first place for the ladies - again!
