One of 18 Breton trawlers that sheltered in Newlyn during a storm, the Kristel Vihan narrowly avoids running in to the Stone Quay. Despite having the rudder hard to starboard as he came through the gaps, the skipper, Thierry found her pushed violently to port by the movement of the water in the harbour - he had to go fullastern and stop her before regaining control.
